
Christianity has long history in Turkey, as far as to the 1st century AD. From the old caves and fairy chimneys in Cappadocia to Hagia Sophia, formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia, in Istanbul, one can find the traces of many civilizations and their stories. These scarves have been made in cotton and hand painted by local Turkish women in Turkey. They are 70 inches in length and 27 inches in width and would also serve as a table cloth or for decorative purposes.
